Rulles for Abstracts Submission

The abstracts must correspond to clinical-pathological cases.

01. Structure

The Abstract Template at the end of this page must be used. Please download it and fill out keeping the structure and examples:
Title of abstract; name and surname; workplace of the authors and email;

The abstract must not identify any of the authors or any other details that could compromise anonymity.
It must be submitted in English; containing a maximum of 3.400 characters (spaces included). The introduction of one image is allowed.

02. Application

Abstracts must be sent until April 15^th, 2024 in Word and PDF format to: eventos@lab52.pt.
The organization will select the 8 most relevant cases. All authors will be notified by this decision until May 13^th.
At least one of the authors must be registered at the congress.

03. Format

The 8 selected cases will be orally presented (10 minutes for presentation, 5 minutes for discussion) in a session at the end of each day.
Upon notification of the authors, a Powerpoint template will be sent for oral presentation, as well as other relevant information.

How to arrive

Public transport

The best way to get to the Super Bock Arena – Pavilhão Rosa Mota, especially on show days, is by using public transport. This way you avoid wasting time and money looking for parking and helps us in our mission to minimize our environmental impact.

Subway (Metro)

Porto is served by 6 Metro lines that cover a large part of the city and surrounding cities. To get to the Super Bock Arena – Pavilhão Rosa Mota, the closest Metro station is “Casa da Música”, served by lines A, B, C, E and F. From here you can take a short 1.5-minute walk km around the city or use STCP buses:

• 201: Viso – Aliados
• 302: Circular Praça da Liberdade – Constituição
• 501: Matosinhos (praia) – Aliados
• 507: Leça (via MAR Shopping) – Cordoaria
• 601: Airport (via MAR Shopping) – Cordoaria

If you prefer, you can use the “Carolina Michaelis” Metro station, also served by lines A, B, C, E and F. To get to the Super Bock Arena – Pavilhão Rosa Mota you have to walk 1.5 km or use one of these buses from STCP:

• 301: Circular Hospital S. João – Sá da Bandeira
• 602: Airport (via Padrão Moreira) – Cordoaria

The central station of the Porto Metro, “Estação da Trindade”, is located approximately 1.8 km away.

The Super Bock Arena – Pavilhão Rosa Mota is served by several STCP bus lines. The nearest stop is “Palácio” (with the identifications: PAL 2, PAL 3, PAL 4 and PAL 5), served by the lines:

Taxi / TVDE

You can easily get to the Super Bock Arena – Pavilhão Rosa Mota using one of the numerous taxis available around the city. Just indicate as your destination the Super Bock Arena – Pavilhão Rosa Mota or the Palácio de Cristal Gardens.

Alternatively, you can also choose between individual and paid passenger transport services in unmarked vehicles using an electronic platform. In Porto they work:

Train

The Super Bock Arena – Pavilhão Rosa Mota is approximately 1.7 km from the emblematic Estação de São Bento, the city’s central train station, from which you can choose to walk through the picturesque streets of the historic center of São Bento. Porto or use one of these STCP buses:

• 208: Aldoar – Aliados
• 501: Matosinhos (beach) – Aliados

Own vehicle

The Super Bock Arena – Pavilhão Rosa Mota is served by an underground car park with 453 spaces.

The Palácio de Cristal Car Park is open 24 hours a day and can be accessed via Rua Jorge de Viterbo Ferreira.

Access to Via de Cintura Interna (VCI) and the motorway are 5 minutes away.
